Schools violating education department order by asking academic fees

Schools violating education department order by asking academic fees

Maharashtra government has been continuously requesting all the private government, educational institutions to not increase fees for the coming session and also to not ask the parents for the fees during lockdown. But this seems to be ignored by many private school authorities.
As despite the order by the many schools are pressurizing the parents to submit the fees by sending message on mobile. It clearly states to pay the fees for the new academic session. However, it has also been said that they have not increased any fees.

Many schools have sent a fee paying message to the parents, as well as a fee structure for the new academic session on their WhatsApp. Some parents have also complained to the education department officials about this.
They said that it is not clear when the school starts. In this situation it is not correct to put pressure on parents to submit fees. It may be mentioned here that schools in Nagpur division start in between June 27 and July 1. In view of the coronavirus infection it is not clear when the schools will reopen.
On April 18 Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said that if any school asks parents to pay fees then they can complain to the district education officers.

Many teachers are requesting the parents that if they do not deposit the fees then how they would pay the salary:
Therefore, the teachers are asking the parents to deposit the fees; He has also got complaints from parents. He had told them not to pay attention to these types of messages.
