IMT Nagpur to conduct faculty development programme on ‘Pedagogical Excellence in Management Class’

Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur, one of the premier B-Schools in the country is organising a five days AICTE-ATAL Faculty Development Programme on ‘Pedagogical Excellence in Management Class.’ The AICTE-Sponsored program to be conducted by eminent faculty members. In a dynamic environment, management education needs to nurture the ability to transform the teaching learning process to create leaders to lead ever changing businesses, social and Government ventures. This need can only be met by transforming the teachers and equipping them with skills and pedagogy to nurture talent of the future.

The five-day programme from October 26 to 30, 2020, spread over 14 sessions will address some of the cutting edge pedagogical tools. Some of the methods to be discussed are business simulations, multimedia channels, visual engagement through movies and videos, tapping current affairs for classroom engagement amongst others. These methods have been chosen to help the participants appreciate the role of various pedagogical tools that help translate learning into skill, to sustain the learners’ attention and enhance their overall experience, the program would further employ didactical tools and techniques. The Institute is thankful to the AICTE and MHRD for giving IMT Nagpur the opportunity to address a critical aspect of academic engagement.
