The Punjab National Bank (PNB) on Thursday started Maharashtra’s first ‘Digital Hut’ initiative at Gandhibagh on Central Avenue. The facility was launched by Ramdas K Hegde, General Manager, Zonal Office, Mumbai.
On the occasion, Hegde said that the bank’s customers will be able to carry out banking transactions with the help of the new initiative. “They can open new accounts in the bank, update their bank passbook, deposit money in their accounts, withdraw cash, internet banking etc. The customers may themselves carry out digital banking with this new facility in place,” he added. B P Rao, Circle Head of the bank said that the customers will get all the services like ATM and other digital facilities under one roof. It will not only save time of the customers but it will also avoid paperwork and thus give relief to the customers.
