The second capital of the state reported hike in COVID-19 cases today. With 467 fresh cases in the day, people 7 succumbed to the infection. After todays count, the cumulative number of positive cases reached to 129225.
From the total 4042 deaths so far, 2685 deaths are from the city, 716 from rural and rest 641 from out of Nagpur, an official release said.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stands at 4735 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
Also, persons became free of the infection in the day taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 120548 (including 68110 home isolation recoveries). After today’s update the recovery rate stands at 93.29%.
Today’s 469 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
AIIMS (33), GMC (59), IGGMC (51), MAFSU (0), NEERI (26), RTMNU (48) Private Lab (163) and Antigen (87).
