The second capital of the state reported hike in COVID-19 cases today. With 323 fresh cases in the day, people 8 succumbed to the infection. After todays count, the cumulative number of positive cases reached to 129548.
From the total 4050 deaths so far, 2688 deaths are from the city, 718 from rural and rest 644 from out of Nagpur, an official release said.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stands at 4595 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
Also, 335 persons became free of the infection in the day taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 120903 (including 68240 home isolation recoveries). After today’s update the recovery rate stands at 93.30%.
Today’s 323 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
AIIMS (35), GMC (61), IGGMC (35), MAFSU (0), NEERI (21), RTMNU (23) Private Lab (114) and Antigen (34).
