Makar Sankranti which is celebrated by sharing haldi kumku among ladies was celebrated in Nagpur Metro Rail station too. Women employees of Nagpur Metro gave til-gud to the passengers travelling on Thursaday.
They also conveyed Sankranti greeting and wished them happy journey. For the benefit of its passengers Metro Rail is organizing several programme, the Sankranti haldi-kunku will continue till January 17 on Metro Stations a carnival is organized.
Metro Rail has received overwhelming response to all its initiatives, and on Thursday the response was very good. MahaMetro has also displayed several stall at Sitabuldi interchange, of which passengers can take benefit. Under its project Celebration on Wheels’ womens can organize Haldi-Kunku on in the running metro rail.
Metro rail has made this special arrangement for Makar Sankarnti. Even special arrangements to celebrate Haldi Kunku programme, arrangements has been made at Subash Nagar Metro Station and Jai Prakash Nagar.
These is a special gift for women’s on account of Sankranti for ladies. Maha Metro has appealed ladies to take maximum advantage of the scheme.
