Maha Metro appeals citizens to be vigilant about fake recruitment advertisements

Maha Metro has appealed citizens to remain vigilant as fake advertisements about openings in metro are being circulated over social media. There is no plan to recruit for any posts and no advertisements have been issued by Maha Metro as of now, said a release issued by the corporation. Over the last few days, Maha Metro office is receiving inquiry calls and the callers mentioned about coming across advertisements over social media platforms. So to alert the citizens Maha Metro said they should not fall prey as there is no recruitment plans as of now.

At the time of recruitment by Metro, all the related information is published in Maha Metro’s website www.mahametro.org and in the prestigious newspapers. Therefore, if any information regarding recruitment is received, it should be fully verified through the official website of Maha Metro (website) or Metro Bhavan office or from Toll free number: 18002700557. A case of fraud has been registered in Nagpur in the past and a police complaint has been lodged in the case. Maha Metro has not given any right to give jobs to any third party and if anyone is making such a claim, everyone should be sure that it is wrong. Taking all these matters seriously, Maha Metro is appealing to all ordinary citizens, especially the youth, not to fall prey to such misconceptions or rumour.
