The new statue of Sir Kasturchand Daga was installed at Kingsway Square, close to Kasturchand Park on Thursday afternoon. The family members of Daga were present during the installation when a puja too was performed.
The original statue of Sir Kasturchand Daga was damaged last year due to which the new statue was sculpted by Daga family. During the installation of the new statue those remained present were Suman Mohta, Mahendra Mohta, Govind Daga, Ayaan Mimani, Swarna Mimani, Suman Rathi. After the installation of new statue at Kingsway Square near Kasturchand Park, the installation of old statue of Sir Kasturchand Daga too was conducted at the farm of Daga family.
