Outbreaks of corona in the past year have deprived many children of regular vaccinations. Therefore, this campaign has been started in two rounds by the Municipal Corporation to ensure that every child gets vaccinated. The first round will continue for the next 15 days from February 22 and the second round will continue for the next 15 days from March 22.

The vaccine will be given to children in the age group of 0 to 2 years and pregnant mothers who have taken additional sessions and missed the days of regular vaccination and corona vaccination. In order to take advantage of this additional vaccination session, everyone should visit their nearest Municipal Primary Health Center and get vaccinated. Sanjay Chilkar and Mata Nodal Officer Dr. Vaishali Mohkar has done it.
The Central Government launched the ‘Mission Rainbow’ campaign in 2014 with the objective of protecting children below 2 years of age and their mothers from seven types of diseases through vaccination by 2020. These include whooping cough, whooping cough, tetanus, polio, tuberculosis, diphtheria and jaundice-B and in some states hemophilia and influenza (type B) vaccines. Full vaccination is expected to reach at least 90 percent vaccination level. In 2009 this proportion was 61 per cent, in 2013 it was 65 per cent and by the end of 2020 this proportion was to be 90 per cent.
