On Friday, Nagpur district has wittnessed highest number of persons becoming free of the deadly coronavirus. Today, 7,294 persons recovered from COVID-19 taking the cumulative recovery to 3,23,69,3. The constant improvement in recovery cases is a huge relief to the administration however the torrent of daily positive cases is still a matter of concern. The COVID-19 recovery rate rose to 79.38 %. With good recovery count the active cases has reduced to 7,67,06.
On Friday, Nagpur district reported 6,461 new positive patients crossing the 4 lakh mark with cumulative positive cases to 4,07,78,7. Of the total new cases in the day 3,649 are the residents of the city while the figures of Nagpur rural area is moving up as its close to cross 3k mark. Today 2802 people tested positive in rural area.
Number of deaths due to COVID-19Â in one single day has witnessed a fall as 88 succumbed to the dreaded virus. Of the 88 victims, 39 were cases reported from both the city and rural each. This has taken the cumulative of deaths to 7388.
