Deepak Kumar Meena, assumed the charge as Additional Commissioner of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) on July 14. He has taken the charge from Jalaj Sharma, who has been transferred as District Collector of Dhule.
Meena met Radhakrishan B, NMC Commissioner after taking charge. He also met Bhuwaneshwari S, CEO of Smart City. Meena who hails from Rajasthan is an IAS of 2013 batch.
He has worked at Padarkawda, in Yevatmal district as trainee Sub Divisional Officers. He was then transferred as CEO of Nasik Zilla Parishad and then CEO of Washim Zilla Parishad. He has also worked as District Collector of Gondia. Â
