G H Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur organized Toppers’ Award & and Student Peer Teachers Award Ceremony on Saturday 09th October 2021 at 11.00 am. Institute organizes Toppers’ Award Ceremony and Student Peer Teachers Award Ceremony every year to felicitate 1st and 2nd toppers from each section of all branches of undergraduate programs, topper amongst all sections of each branch from undergraduate and postgraduate programs and also felicitates the student peer teachers. The institute also confers Raisoni Achiever Award to the student having outstanding academic and overall contribution during four years of his Undergraduate study.
A cash prize of Rs. 5000 along with certificate was awarded to First Toppers and 2nd Toppers was awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 2500 along with certificate. Silver Medals were awarded branch wise to the topper across all sections from each branch. Gold Medals were awarded to overall Toppers from Undergraduate, Post Gradate & MBA Programs. On this occasion, the certificates for Peer Teaching were also awarded to Peer Teaching students. Raisoni Achiever Award was awarded to the student having outstanding academic and overall contribution during four years of his Undergraduate study.
Total 57 student awardee beneficiaries for session 2019-20 (Including 1st and 2nd Toppers, and 03 Gold & 15 Silver Medals Medalists & 01 Achiever Award) and 159 students for session 2020-21 (Including 1st and 2nd Toppers, and 19 Gold & 15 Silver Medals Medalists, 01 Achiever Award) were honored during the felicitation ceremony.
The feedback cum suggestions were invited from parents and awardee students. Many parents and students were happy to receive the awards and being getting felicitated and applauded the initiatives taken by the institute. The students and parents also appreciated the efforts taken by the institute especially for the academic session planning execution especially during COVID-19 pandemic and various schemes like Credit Transfer Scheme with College of Engineering Pune.
The institute also facilitated the teachers having excellent academic contribution with Best Teacher Award.The felicitations were done at the hands of Mr. Shreyas Raisoni Executive Director-Raisoni Group of Institutions and Dr. Sachin Untawale Director of the institute. Deputy Directors, Deans, Heads of the Departments, faculty members were present for the felicitation ceremony.
