After 27 years, Salman Khan and filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi have teamed up for a docu-series about the latter, which is presently in development. In 1994, the two collaborated on the film Andaz Apna Apna.
Following that, Salman appeared in two of his films, Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani and Phata Poster Nikla Hero, as a guest star.
Rajkumar Santoshi discussed his bond with Salman in a recent interview with ETimes, revealing that the two have a very cordial relationship and mutual respect.
“We have a nice relationship. Salman and I have a great deal of respect for one another. We enjoy one other’s company, and I hold his family in high regard as well. I’m looking forward to working with Salman once more. He is an actor with a lot of talent who hasn’t been fully utilised in the recent past. I’d like to cast him in a role that is both tough and unfamiliar to him “He was reported in the tabloid as saying.
Rajkumar has been working on a sequel to the legendary film Andaz Apna Apna for some now. “My script is complete, some last changes are needed, but it has to be with a new cast, which will happen a little later,” he revealed to the tabloid while speaking with them.
