The District Collector R Vimla has issued fresh notification on Wednesday, relating to timings of liquor sale. Confusion and discontent prevailed among the traders and customers because of earlier order of reducing the timing.
As per the new notification the liquor bars and clubs can function till 12 midnight in the city and upto 11.30 pm in rural area. The Beer Shops for counter sale and home delivery can function upto 10.30 pm.
The Country liquor bars (CL-3) are allowed to remain open from 8 am to 10 pm and shops for counter sale (CLFTOD-3) for counter sale upto 10.30 pm.
The wholesale traders can function upto 8 pm.
