An IndiGo flight 6E- 7074 (AMD-NAG-Lucknow), on April 4, which was departed to its destination at about 7:57 am with 50 passengers onboard, made an emergency landing at Nagpur Airport after detecting smoke in the AFT hold area of the aircraft.
At about 8:33 am the aircraft landed at Nagpur Airport.
After a safe landing, the flight was taken to bay no 14, concerned airline staff, the Airport fire tender, two airport fire ambulance, one Kingsway Hospital Ambulance, and one MI room duty doctor reached on the spot to deal with any mishap fire in charge gone inside the aircraft and checked all the aircraft for any fire.
At 8:45 am all the passengers 49+1(Infant) and 4 crew members were deboarded. The passengers were taken to the terminal building through Arrival Airside gate in domestic arrival hall.
