Madhya Pradesh is hosting the Khelo India Youth Games 2023. The annual competition will be held in 23 venues across the state, in eight different cities. The 13-day competition will feature over 6,000 athletes from all over the country. The multi-sport competition will conclude on February 11.
Haryana won the fourth and final edition of the Khelo India Youth Games 2021 with 52 gold medals and 137 medals overall. Maharashtra finished second overall, with 45 gold medals. Haryana and Maharashtra have dominated this annual competition, each winning it twice. This time, they expect to dominate once more, but athletes from other parts of the country would like to see their names higher up on the medal tally.
