The crime branch arrested a woman who lured the minor girl into prostitution by showing her money. One of the accused is absconding and Hudkeshwar police is searching for him.
The woman who runs the sex trade is identified as Shubhangi Yogiraj Nagose (35) Her partner’s name is Bhupendra Dubey (30). The accused women were luring the girls with money and inducing them to engage in prostitution.
She was running a prostitution business by providing clients and space to girls. After getting information about this, Unit 4 of the Crime Branch laid a trap and raided. It was revealed that the accused woman was procuring sex from a 17-year-old minor girl.
The police arrested the accused woman and rescued the minor girl. The accused woman and girl have been handed over to Hudkeshwar police. The accused Bhupendra Dubey is absconding. police have registered a case against the accused woman under section 3, 4, 5, 7, PITA Act sub-section 4, 8, 12 POCSO Act sub-section 34.
