Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute (BARTI) Nagpur Sub-centre will conduct women’s rights awareness programmes from January 3 the birth anniversary of social reformer Savitribai Phule to January 12, the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s mother Jijamata.
On January 3, the inaugural event will be held at Tirpude Nursing College. The following programmes will be held at Shraddhanand Anathalaya, Bharatiya Adim Jati Sevak Sangh, Karuna Mahila Vasatigrah, Nara Slum, Priyadarshi Women’s Hostel, District Service Centre in Itwari for sex workers (Ganga Jamuna), Women and Child Development Centre, Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal, Tata Strive, Indo-German Tool. The concluding programme on January 12 will be held at Rahate Nagar Toli.
