Nagpur witnessed a grand display of strength, dedication, and fitness as the Nagpur Municipal Corporation Shri 2025 Bodybuilding Championship took center stage on March 2, 2025. Organized jointly by the Nagpur Municipal Corporation and the Body Builders & Fitness Association Vidarbha, this highly anticipated event was held at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (Kacchi Visa) Ground, drawing massive crowds of fitness enthusiasts.
The competition saw intense battles across multiple weight categories, with Vijay Bhoyar (Amravati) claiming the prestigious “Champion of Champions” title, bagging ₹51,000 in cash and a glittering trophy. Umesh Bhakre (Akola) was crowned “Best Poser”, winning ₹31,000. Winners across different categories were rewarded with cash prizes ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹20,000.
Dignitaries, including former corporators Pramod Pendke and Narendra (Balya) Borkar, along with sports officials, graced the event. The championship showcased some of Maharashtra’s finest bodybuilders, setting new benchmarks in the fitness world.
