VR Mall at Medical Square remained closed on Wednesday, March 19, following the enforcement of curfew in parts of Nagpur. The closure was announced as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of visitors and staff amid ongoing restrictions imposed by Nagpur Police.
In an Instagram story, VR Nagpur stated:
“Dear Customers, in light of the recent imposition of Section 144, VR Nagpur will remain closed today, March 19, 2025, to ensure the safety of our patrons and staff. We appreciate your understanding.”
Meanwhile, prohibitory orders under Section 163 remain in effect across multiple areas, including Ganeshpeth, Tehsil, Lakadganj, Pachpaoli, Shantinagar, Sakkardara, Nandanvan, Imamwada, Yashodharanagar, and Kapilnagar. The restrictions prohibit gatherings of more than five people until further notice.
Authorities have urged residents to stay calm, avoid rumors, and follow official updates to ensure public safety.
