Drivers using the Samruddhi Expressway will have to pay higher toll charges starting April 1, as the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has announced a 19% increase in toll rates.
Once the entire route is operational, car drivers traveling from Mumbai to Nagpur will be charged ₹1,445, while those commuting from Nagpur to Igatpuri will have to pay ₹1,290.
Currently, 625 km of the 701 km expressway, from Nagpur to Igatpuri, is open to traffic. The remaining 76 km stretch, from Igatpuri to Aamne, is expected to be accessible to the public within a month.
