The Nagpur Traffic Police held a meeting with auto-rickshaw and e-rickshaw drivers at the Traffic Park to reinforce important regulations aimed at maintaining public safety and order on city roads. During the session, officials emphasized that all auto-rickshaw drivers must wear their prescribed uniforms and display official identification badges while on duty. It was also reiterated that only those with valid licenses are permitted to operate auto-rickshaws.

In addition, e-rickshaw drivers were strictly instructed to operate only on designated routes and were warned against using the vehicles for goods transportation. Another key issue highlighted was passenger limit—each auto-rickshaw is allowed to carry a maximum of only three passengers.
The police made it clear that any violations of these guidelines will invite strict legal action starting from tomorrow. This enforcement drive is part of a broader effort to ensure road safety, discourage illegal transport practices, and improve discipline among city transport operators.
