NAGPUR: In a shocking case of deceit and extortion, Nagpur Police have arrested a woman accused of marrying eight men and blackmailing them for money using threats and bogus legal complaints. The accused, identified as Samira Fatima, was nabbed by Gittikhadan Police after evading arrest for over a year.
According to officials, Samira targeted married men via social media, presenting herself as a divorcee willing to become a second wife. Once the marriage was formalized, she allegedly began threatening her husbands with legal action and extorted money from them.
Police are continuing their investigation to identify any additional victims or accomplices involved in the scam.
