The South East Central Railway’s Nagpur Division has expanded its railway reservation facilities to 11 new locations beyond the station premises. This initiative aims to provide easier access to ticketing services for passengers across the city and surrounding areas.
According to officials, these new reservation centres are situated at post offices and non-railhead locations including Motibagh, Nagpur Airport, Shankarnagar, and Sakkardara within Nagpur city. The move is expected to significantly reduce congestion at the main railway station and offer greater convenience to travelers.
In addition, similar reservation centres are set to become operational in Chhindwara, Lakhnadon, Bhandara, Baihar, Gadchiroli, Dindori, and Khairagarh in the coming days, further extending the network of accessible ticket booking facilities.
This expansion reflects Indian Railways’ ongoing efforts to enhance passenger services and improve connectivity in the Nagpur region.
