The Traffic Division at Cotton Market has issued a notification regarding traffic diversions in view of the ongoing construction of the Hatti Nullah bridge. The work, being carried out by M/s Suvichar Construction, is scheduled to be completed within 15 days.
To facilitate the construction, the road from Mahal Zenda Chowk to Gangabai Ghat will remain closed to vehicular traffic from August 5 to August 20, 2025.
Considering the heavy traffic in the area throughout the day and night, alternative routes have been planned to ease congestion and ensure smooth vehicular movement:
Diversion Route 1:
Vehicles traveling from Mahal Zenda Chowk to Gangabai Ghat will be diverted via Manikpura Chowk and Lakhipul Bus Stop.
Diversion Route 2:
Vehicles heading from Gangabai Ghat to Mahal Zenda Chowk will be redirected via Adamshah Chowk.
Motorists are advised to follow the revised routes and cooperate with traffic authorities during this period.
