Manaswini Foundation, in association with the Department of Fashion Designing, LAD College, Nagpur, successfully conducted an inspiring and interactive Jewellery Making Workshop at Bhide Girls’ School & Junior College, Nagpur.
The workshop was led by Dr. Vandana Menon and Ms. Rakshata Mankar, who introduced students to the fundamentals of jewellery making, emphasizing creativity, design thinking, and the value of hobbies during school years.
One of the key highlights of the session was the ‘Best Out of Waste’ activity, where students crafted unique jewellery pieces using recyclable and easily available household materials—promoting sustainability and innovation in design.
In addition to the hands-on experience, students were given insights into various career opportunities in the field of fashion designing, encouraging them to explore creative professions with confidence.
Principal Archana Garikar played a pivotal role in supporting this initiative. The enthusiastic cooperation of the entire Bhide School team contributed significantly to the success of the event.
