In a remarkable step toward building cyber-smart and cyber-safe environment and spread mass awareness, the Government Institute of Forensic Science, Nagpur (GIFSN), has signed an MoU with Quick Heal Foundation, Pune. Various social awareness initiatives would be carried out under the MoU aimed at enhancing digital literacy, cyber safety, and information security awareness among public.
An orientation training workshop was conducted at for the club officers and Teacher coordinators at the QHF headquarters at Pune. The training program included interactive sessions, live demonstrations, and discussions on topics like cyber hygiene, social media safety, password security, and cybercrime awareness. The initiative not only educated club officers about preventive digital measures but also encouraged them to become responsible digital citizens and effective warriors. The training was conducted by Quick Heal Foundation Team members including Ajay Shirke, Gayatri Keskar, Dipu Singh and Sakshi Lavangare.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Anupama Katkar, Chairperson of QHF stated, “In today’s fast-evolving digital world, it is not just enough to use technology smartly – we must also use it safely and responsibly. That is what this initiative is all about.”
Installation of the Cyber Warrior Club was done at GIFS, Nagpur wherein the following students were selected as the office bearers: Ms. Suhani Tiwari (Club President), Mr. Robins Narote (Activity Director), Mr. Mitesh Gosavi (Club Secretary) and Mr. Harsh Tiwari (Media Director). Dr. Sanjay Thakare, Director (GIFS) and Teacher Coordinator for this Initiative Dr. Ashish Badiye congratulated the selected club officers
and laid down the roadmap.
