A case has been registered against two individuals, including a clerk, for allegedly harassing a female professor of a government-aided women’s college. The complainant alleged that since May 20, the accused had been making inappropriate remarks, obstructing her work, and creating a hostile environment.
According to the FIR, on May 23 around 4:30 pm, the accused clerk verbally abused the professor in her office, made objectionable gestures, and issued threats. Despite informing higher authorities, the harassment allegedly continued.
Police are also probing allegations that the accused have been troubling a fellow faculty member, with the possible involvement of another person from the same college. An inquiry is underway to determine his role in the matter.
