No Entry on Futala Road on August 15
Every year on Independence Day, a large crowd gathers at Futala Lake, leading to severe traffic congestion. To avoid traffic jams, the Traffic Police will enforce a complete “No Entry” for vehicles on Futala Road on August 15. Visitors and motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
Vehicles heading from Mekos, Ramnagar, and LIC Chowk towards Futala via Shankar Nagar will face restrictions. Traffic from Sadar Market to Shankarnagar will also be regulated. Heavy vehicles traveling from Kadbi Chowk to Golibar Chowk will have to use No. 1 Pulia via Kamptee Chowk. From Golibar Chowk towards Kadbi Chowk, drivers will need to pass via Kamptee Chowk, bypassing Shankar Nagar.
Motorists are urged to plan their journeys in advance and follow the designated alternative routes for a smooth traffic experience.
