To maintain law and order during the celebration of Tanha Pola festival, the District Collector of Nagpur, Dr. Vipin Itankar, has ordered closure of all licensed liquor outlets under the jurisdiction of Nagpur City Police Commissionerate on August 23.
As per the directive, all country liquor and foreign liquor shops, beer bars, toddy shops, and other establishments holding valid licenses such as Sample-E, Sample-E2, FLW-2, CL-2, CL-3, FL-1, FL-2, CLFLTOD-3, FL-3, FLBR-2, and TD-1 will remain closed for the entire day.
The order further warns that strict action will be taken against those who violate the directive.
