69th Year LIC (Insurance Week) Open Rapid Chess Tournament 2025 will be organized by LIC Of India, Nagpur Division and conducted by Nagpur District Chess Association, at NDCA Hall, Sports Complex, Dhanwate National College, opposite Ajni Railway Station, Nagpur from 2nd September & 3rd September, 2025. Attractive Cash Prize will be distributed among top 10 players and to the best veteran and the best female. Medals for best boy and girls age category that is Under- 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 will also be given.Participants should note that only 120 Entries will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Under no circumstances more than 120 entries will be accepted due to space constraint. Entry fee will be Rs. 250/- per participant.
The Tournament will be inaugurated by *Shri Pravin Niranjan, Senior Divisional Manager LIC Nagpur Division* at 5.00 pm on 2nd September, 2025 and will immediately be followed by the 1st Round. The Number of rounds will depend upon the number of entries. On 2nd September, 2025, four rounds will be played which will commence at 5.30 pm. and the last four rounds will be held on Wednesday the 3rd September, 2025 from 5.30 pm onwards. The tournament time control will be 15 minutes + 05 seconds increment from move no. 1.
