Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) launched a special anti-rabies vaccination campaign under Mission Rabies starting today. As part of this initiative, nearly 20,000 dogs will be vaccinated by September 28, 2025.
According to officials, around 20 animal welfare feeders have registered their pet and community dogs for vaccination. The campaign is being carried out through a joint effort of the Health Department and veterinary teams, who have outlined a comprehensive action plan.
Authorities have appealed to citizens to ensure timely vaccination of their pet dogs and to cooperate in making Nagpur a rabies-free city
