The Directorate of Other Backward Bahujan Welfare has announced the admission schedule for the academic year 2025–26. The process applies to students from OBC, VJNT, and SBC communities who are pursuing higher education after Class 12. Admissions will be carried out for Government Hostels, along with the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Swayam Scheme and the Gyanjyoti Savitribai Phule Aadhar Scheme. Students can submit their online applications between September 1 and September 18, 2025 on the official portal https://hmas.mahait.org. After scrutiny and the release of merit lists, two rounds of admissions will be conducted. For districts that do not have Government Hostels, students will be directly admitted under the two schemes, and in such cases, the schedule will extend till November 21, 2025. Authorities have instructed colleges and hostels to put up this notice, ensure online processes only, and strictly follow reservation policies and government guidelines .
