Nagpur Police have ordered the closure of all liquor shops, beer bars, wine shops, and related establishments in sensitive areas of the city on September 4, 2025, in view of Eid-E-Milad and Ganesh Visarjan falling on the same day.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 5) Shri Niketan Kadam (IPS) issued directions after reviewing law and order preparedness in Kamptee, Pardi, New Kamptee, Juni Kamptee, Khaparkheda, Jaripatka, Kalamna, Yashodhara Nagar, and adjoining areas. Police officials have been instructed to strictly enforce the closure to ensure peace and communal harmony during the religious processions.
The Nagpur Police have also appealed to citizens to cooperate and have assured that strict action will be taken against any violations.
