The District Sports Office (DSO), with technical support from the Chess Association Nagpur, successfully conducted the Nagpur DSO Gramin Level Chess Selection Events at BRA Mundle Hall, Nagpur. The competitions were held across Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 age groups, with separate events for boys and girls.

In the Girls Under-14 category, Tarini Ramteke secured the first position, followed by Advika Yamde as runner-up and Advika Bhoyar in third place. In the Boys Under-14 category, Shaurya Ambone clinched the top spot, with Anay Pimparkar finishing second and Vishwaditya Awasthi in third place.
The Under-17 Girls event was won by Vritika Game, with Shreeya Gaikwad as runner-up and Shrushti Taksande taking third. In the Boys Under-17 group, Mayank Hedau emerged victorious, followed by Arnav Gajbhiya in second place and Harish Shah in third.
For the Under-19 Girls category, Lakshita Rathod claimed the title, with Tanishi Kumar as runner-up and Krutika Shriwas finishing third. The Boys Under-19 title was won by Vedant Pathak, followed by Samarth Hindoria in second place and Pankaj Hinge in third.
The events were officiated by Shri Amrish Joshi, FA, as Chief Arbiter, assisted by Prayas Ambade, Prathamesh Machave, and other officials under the guidance of Smt. Maya Dubale, Sports Incharge of Chess, DSO office, and Bhushan Shriwas, Secretary of the Chess Association Nagpur.
