To facilitate travel during the Dongargarh Navratri Fair, South East Central Railway has announced the operation of a Puja Special MEMU train between Dongargarh and Raipur.
According to the schedule, Train No. 06888 (Dongargarh–Raipur Puja Special MEMU) will run daily from September 28 to October 2, 2025, departing Dongargarh at 11:10 pm and reaching Raipur at 1:40 am the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 06887 (Raipur–Dongargarh Puja Special MEMU) will run from September 29 to October 3, 2025, leaving Raipur at 2:30 am and arriving at Dongargarh at 5:15 am.
The MEMU Special will halt at all designated stations including Jatkanhar, Musra, Bortalav, Rajnandgaon, Parmalkasa, Murhipar, Rasmada, Durg, Bhilai Nagar, Bhilai Power House, Bhilai, Devbaloda Charoda, Kumhari, Sarona, and Saraswati Nagar.
This special service will operate with eight coaches to accommodate the expected surge in passenger traffic during the fair.
