A 26-year-old labourer died after falling from the third floor of an under-construction building at Gotala Paanjri in Beltarodi on September 25.
The deceased, Ashok Mantu Yadav of Medhamal Khapa, Umred (Chhindwara district), was removing safety nets at the Aakar Park project around 11 am when an iron pipe struck him. The impact caused him to lose balance and plunge to the ground.
Yadav suffered critical injuries and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
Following a medical report, Beltarodi Police registered an accidental death (AD) case. Further inquiries into the incident are underway.
