Festival Begins from Nov 7 in Nagpur
The much-awaited Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav 2025, the annual cultural extravaganza conceptualized by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, will commence on November 7 at the Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education Ground, Hanuman Nagar.
Entry to the 12-day festival is free, but attendees must obtain online passes starting November 4 via the official website — www.khasdarmahotsav.com. For added convenience, QR codes printed on advertisements and hoardings can be scanned to directly access the pass portal.
The festival will open on November 7 with the play Hamare Ram, featuring acclaimed actor Ashutosh Rana. Passes for this inaugural show will be available from November 4 at 12 noon.
On November 8, singer Vishal Mishra will perform live, with passes released on November 5, while entry for the Instrumental Fusion event opens on November 6. Passes for Shri Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Rashtrasantachi Jeevan Gatha will be available on November 7.
Running till November 18, the festival will feature a star-studded lineup including Akhil Sachdeva, Rekha and Vishal Bhardwaj, Shreya Ghoshal, Shankar Mahadevan, and Ajay-Atul. Passes for each show will be released four days before the performance, all at 12 noon.
Festival Committee Chairman Anil Sole, Vice-Chairpersons Dr. Gaurishankar Parashar, Ashok Mankar, Dilip Jadhav, and Secretary Jaiprakash Gupta said extensive arrangements have been made to ensure visitors’ comfort and safety. They urged citizens to participate enthusiastically in the annual celebration of art and culture.
The organising team includes Balasaheb Kulkarni, Haji Abdul Kadir, Sarang Gadkari, Avinash Ghushe, Dr. Deepak Khirwadkar, Sandeep Gawai, Sanjay Gulkari, Renuka Deshkar, Guddu Trivedi, Kishor Patil, Chetan Kayarkar, Ashish Wandile, Adv. Nitin Telgote, Manisha Kashikar, Vijay Fadnavis, Mahendra Raut, Dilip Gaur, and Shailesh Dhoble.
