Air travel between Nagpur and Navi Mumbai is set for a significant upgrade, with IndiGo announcing the launch of its services from the new Navi Mumbai International Airport starting December 25. Nagpur is among the first ten cities to be connected in the initial phase.
As per IndiGo’s schedule, the Navi Mumbai–Nagpur flight will depart at 1:45 PM and arrive at 3:20 PM. The return flight will leave Nagpur at 4:00 PM and reach Navi Mumbai by 5:35 PM. Ticket bookings are already available on IndiGo’s website, allowing passengers to plan their year-end travel in advance.
IndiGo has also stated that the number of flights from Navi Mumbai will steadily increase as the airport scales up its operations. Meanwhile, Air India is preparing to launch its own services from the new airport, though bookings for its routes are yet to open.
Navi Mumbai’s air connectivity is set to expand further beyond IndiGo and Air India, with Akasa Air launching its first flight between Delhi and NMIA. In the coming days, Akasa will also begin services to Goa, Kochi, and Ahmedabad. Tickets can be booked through the airline’s website, mobile apps, and major travel platforms.
With Nagpur now connected to Navi Mumbai, travellers can look forward to smoother journeys, less congestion compared to Mumbai’s primary airport, and an increasing range of flight options in the near future.
