Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has formally launched the election process for the 2025 civic polls by publishing the draft ward-wise voter list, giving residents an opportunity to verify their details before the final rolls are prepared. The draft, compiled based on the eligibility cutoff of July 1, has been accessible to the public since November 20 at all NMC Zone Offices and on the civic body’s official portal.
The draft rolls can be viewed online through the “Search Name in the Voter List of Maharashtra” link on the NMC website. Citizens can check their entries using either of two methods — Search by Name or Search by EPIC Number.
• In the name-based search, users must select their district, assembly constituency and enter their personal details.
• In the EPIC-based search, only the EPIC number and minimal information is required.
In both formats, the system instantly displays the voter’s full record.
With the election countdown now underway, NMC has appealed to all voters to cross-check their information promptly. Officials have stressed the need for early verification to correct any errors — such as missing names, incorrect spellings, wrong house numbers or mismatched EPIC details — before the correction window closes.
The corporation has highlighted that timely updates will help ensure glitch-free polling and prevent last-minute complications for citizens on election day.
