The South East Central Railway (SECR), Nagpur Division, has invited Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from eligible companies to set up premium single-brand food outlets at key stations. The move aims to offer passengers high-quality, airport-like food services.
Senior divisional commercial manager Dilip Singh said the proposal seeks stakeholder feedback in line with Railway Board guidelines. Unlike multi-brand stalls, single-brand outlets ensure uniform menus, standard pricing, trained staff, and better hygiene.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to upgrade passenger amenities and bring railway stations in the Nagpur Division up to modern service standards.
