The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) will operate special bus services on December 6 for Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Mahaparinirvan Diwas. Extra buses will run between Mor Bhavan and Shantivan Chicholi from 7 am to 8 pm to help devotees travel smoothly.
The Engineer Buddhist Council had requested additional transport for people attending the events at Shantivan Chicholi. To avoid traffic jams on the Chicholi route, NMC has instructed its transport operator, Chalo, to ensure enough buses are available throughout the day.
Citizens are encouraged to use these public transport services to reduce congestion. NMC has appealed for public cooperation for a safe and orderly observance of the day.
