Senior Congress leader and MLA Nana Patole has alleged that although accommodation has been arranged for ministers at Ravi Bhavan, they are instead opting to stay in five-star hotels.
Patole said he even has a list of the hotels being used. Calling it a “loot of public money,” he accused the ministers of taking percentage cuts as well. He was speaking to reporters on the Vidhan Bhavan premises.
Referring to the recent leopard–goat incident, Patole said the government appears to believe a goat can take on a leopard, which he called absurd. He added that wild boars and other animals also destroy farmers’ crops and should be captured, but claimed the real intention here is to “eat” the funds allocated in the name of the goat.
