Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has released a revised examination timetable for over 200 exams, covering more than 70 professional courses, in view of the upcoming municipal corporation elections scheduled for next month.
Earlier, over 200 examinations of both professional and non-professional courses were slated to be held during the election period. To avoid clashes and administrative difficulties, the university’s examination department rescheduled the exams and uploaded the revised timetable on the official website.
Most of the changes have been made to examination dates for courses under the Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies and Faculty of Humanities. The exams for these faculties will now be conducted immediately after the completion of the election-related examinations.
University officials said the revision aims to ensure that students do not face inconvenience, while also accommodating administrative responsibilities linked to the election process.
