Keeping in view the additional passenger rush during Christmas, New Year and Winter Vacation 2025, Central Railway has decided to operate special trains for the convenience of passengers. Accordingly, Nagpur–Hadapsar–Nagpur Special and Pune–Nagpur–Pune Special trains will be run, ensuring a safe, comfortable and smooth long-distance travel experience.
Nagpur–Hadapsar–Nagpur Special Express (08 Trips)
Train No. 01221 – Nagpur–Hadapsar Special Express This special train will depart from Nagpur at 19:40 hrs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on the following dates:
27.12.2025 (Friday), 29.12.2025 (Monday), 31.12.2025 (Wednesday) and 03.01.2026 (Saturday) and will reach Hadapsar (Pune) at 11:25 hrs on the next day.
Train No. 01222 – Hadapsar–Nagpur Special Express This special train will depart from Hadapsar at 15:50 hrs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays on the following dates: 28.12.2025 (Sunday), 30.12.2025 (Tuesday), 01.01.2026 (Thursday) and 04.01.2026 (Sunday)and will reach Nagpur at 06:30 hrs on the next day.
Stoppages: Ajni, Wardha, Dhamangaon, Badnera, Akola, Shegaon, Malkapur, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Pachora, Chalisgaon, Manmad, Kopargaon, Belapur, Ahmednagar and Daund Chord Line.
Composition: 2 First AC, 4 Second AC, 12 Third AC coaches and 2 Guard-cum-Luggage Coaches (Total 20 ICF coaches).
Pune–Nagpur–Pune Special Express (08 Trips)
Train No. 01419 – Pune–Nagpur Special Express This special train will depart from Pune at 20:30 hrs on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays on the following dates:
27.12.2025 (Saturday), 29.12.2025 (Monday), 31.12.2025 (Wednesday) and 03.01.2026 (Saturday) and will reach Nagpur at 14:05 hrs on the next day.
Train No. 01420 – Nagpur–Pune Special Express This special train will depart from Nagpur at 16:10 hrs on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays on the following dates:
28.12.2025 (Sunday), 30.12.2025 (Tuesday), 01.01.2026 (Thursday) and 04.01.2026 (Sunday) and will reach Pune at 11:45 hrs on the next day.
Composition: 16 Third AC coaches and 2 Guard-cum-Luggage Coaches, totaling 18 ICF coaches.
Stoppages: Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Chalisgaon, Pachora, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Murtizapur, Badnera,Dhamangaon, Wardha and Ajni.
Central Railway, Nagpur Division, appeals to passengers to kindly verify train running days, timings and stoppages before commencing their journey. The operation of these special trains will provide passengers with a safe, comfortable and convenient travel option during the festive season and winter vacation period.
