Nagpur’s promising roller speed skater, Anvayee Chanekar, delivered a stellar performance at the 63rd National Roller Speed Skating Championship held recently in Visakhapatnam.
Competing against the nation’s top skaters, Anvayee clinched two silver medals in the Road 3000 metres and Road 1 Lap events, marking a significant milestone in her sporting career.
Her impressive achievement is a testament to her dedication, discipline, and relentless training, bringing pride to her family, Team Maharashtra, and the Nagpur skating fraternity.
Anvayee’s success was guided by the expert mentorship of her coach, Piyush Akre.
Special appreciation was also extended to SAM President Prof. P. K. Singh, NDRSA Secretary Dr. Upendra Verma, Swapnil Samarth, and Nitin Kathote for their continued support in promoting roller speed skating.
