Nagpur: Nine-year-old Veera Bang has brought laurels to the city by winning the Junior Miss India title in the Cultural Round (8–10 years category) at a national-level competition held in Jaipur.
Veera, daughter of Dr Mukesh Bang and Dr Smita Bang, is a Class IV student of Bhavan’s B P Vidya Mandir, Ashti. She emerged winner among 172 contestants from across India who qualified for the grand finale after multiple preliminary rounds.
Junior Miss India, considered the world’s biggest girl child event, is powered by Juxe Lume and co-powered by My City Events India Corporation. During the grand finale’s Cultural Round, Veera impressed the judges with her confidence, intelligence and stage presence.
She portrayed Goddess Kali, symbolising strength, dignity and divine feminine power rooted in Indian culture. Her performance highlighted the message that every woman carries the spark of Goddess Kali within her and can rise with strength when her dignity is challenged.
By securing the prestigious title, Veera proudly represented Nagpur and Maharashtra on a national platform, showcasing her talent at one of the country’s most prominent child talent events.
