A total of 993 candidates are in the fray. Polling teams have undergone multiple rounds of training, including EVM handling, and 244 zonal officers will supervise ground-level arrangements. The civic body has arranged 504 buses to transport polling staff and election material.
Voters can locate their polling booths using the Matadhikar mobile app, while 255 polling stations will have live webcasting. Commissioner Chaudhari appealed to citizens to vote responsibly, expressing confidence that Nagpur will witness a free, fair and orderly democratic exercise.
