Voters can easily locate their polling booth by using the Matadhikar App by entering their voter ID card number. Election officials have advised citizens to check their booth details in advance to avoid last-minute confusion.
An important point for voters to note is that polling will continue even after 5.30 pm, but the entry gates of polling centres will be closed exactly at 5.30 pm. Voters who are already inside the polling centre premises at that time will be allowed to cast their vote even if the time exceeds 5.30 pm. However, no new voters will be permitted to enter the centre after 5.30 pm.
Voters are therefore urged to reach the polling centre well before the closing time to ensure they are able to exercise their right to vote.
