After a historic box office run, Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar recently premiered on Netflix to a positive response. With the film continuing to find an audience on the streaming platform, fans are now eagerly awaiting the sequel, Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar.
On Monday, the makers dropped a cryptic hint about the upcoming project. Taking to Instagram, Ranveer Singh and the Dhurandhar team shared a Story that read, “Tomorrow (February 3), 12:12.”
The post has fuelled speculation that the teaser for Dhurandhar 2 will be unveiled at 12:12 pm on Tuesday, sending fans into a frenzy on social media.
Earlier, reports suggested that the teaser would be released alongside Sunny Deol’s Border 2. However, Aditya Dhar later addressed the speculation on social media. Sharing a fan-made meme that read, “Aditya Dhar mazak nahi, teaser jaldi (Please don’t joke and release the teaser soon),” the filmmaker wrote, “The teaser will be out in a few days!”
Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter reported that T-Series will be on board as the music label for Dhurandhar 2. According to a source, the film boasts a “massive, chartbuster soundtrack,” with early listeners praising the album’s variety and scale.
Dhurandhar 2 is slated for a theatrical release on March 19, where it will clash at the box office with Yash-starrer Toxic.
